Ok, this is the last part of my writing about learning blockchain but not the last. Yes, this is just the beginning. I am very interested in exploring blockchain. Before blockchain technology developed, developers/programmers had to create applications that depended on data owners (or state aggregators) such as social media, search engines, and large e-commerce platforms because HTTP protocol could not store data (HTTP is often called stateless). protocol). Dependence on this state aggregator has the effect that applications that do not comply with the regulations (or profit-sharing mechanism) of this state aggregator can be easily turned off by the platform owner and cause losses on the developer side.

Blockchain and AI (Artificial Intelligence) are often referred to as the leading leaders in the industrial revolution 4.0. According to fcanos.com, some of the characteristics of the 4th industrial revolution are no geographic boundaries, cost savings, no middlemen, secure services, and programmable money. All these characters exist in blockchain technology.

And in a future article, I will deepen my knowledge about blockchain by creating a project called Smart Contracts.

“Blockchain will do something to the financial system, just like the internet did to the media” — Joi Ito, Harvard Business Review, March 2017.

Blockchain is a type of data structure used in a distributed ledger that is stored and distributed in a package called Block and connected to each other in a digital chain (chain), thus creating the name Blockchain. So this blockchain is a kind of data structure in a chain. Blockchain uses cryptographic methods and algorithms to record and synchronize data across networks. Blockchain can be applied in various fields, one of which is banking finance, namely smart contracts.

Smart Contract Blockchain provides a level of security because this technology provides excellent features, namely: Immutable, or immutable data.

Okay, thank you for being willing to visit my writing about learning blockchain, I hope it’s useful, and see you in my next article.
